UPDATED Tuesday 8/31/2010 6:50 am Good luck Brady, Rebecca and Justin in Kentucky!!!!! David and I want to say "Thank you" from the bottom of our hearts to John and Sherri. They headed up an emergency work crew between the rains last week to start repairs. JD, JR, James and Randall thank you for responding. It warms our hearts to know that when it is needed we all pull together. This small but mighty group of people got together and worked between the rains last week to get the repairs started. They were able to get a big part of the track reparied and covered. Due to the Grands and the holiday weekend the track will be closed. However, when we get back it is on. We will be working hard and steady to get the track work completed and get back to riding. JANUARY 1ST 2011, THE NEW NBL BEGINS....John, Sherri, David and I attended a webnair presented directly from the CEO Gary Aragon explaining the changes to NBL. NBL is working directly with local tracks to answer all questions and help us make the change as easy as possible. Our trip to Kentucky will consist of racing along with Track Director and Clerking meetings. Please be patient with us as we gather the needed information to help the track and the riders prepare for the upcoming changes. Directions to Highlands County Family YMCA BMX - Avon Park, Florida Avon Park is located south of Lake Wales and North of Sebring on U.S. Hwy 27. Arriving on U.S. Hwy 27 (From the North or South) at the intersection of Stryker Road and C-17A, just north of the City of Avon Park, and State Road 64, proceed east on C-17A for 1.8 miles.
