Highands YMCA BMX will be closed Monday 7/26, and Thursday 7/29 in order to give the board time to prepare for the start of the 2010 Summer Series Championship which begins August 1st. We will be holding a work day Saturday July 31st starting at 9am. Water will be provided. Free practice certificiates will be provided to riders or parents of riders who can come give David, John, JD, Sherri and Sandy a hand. Mowing, weeding, some dirt work, clean up in building. | What is BMX Racing all about? BMX (Bicycle Motorcross) is and exciting action sport where riders, male or female, race each other around a dirt track packed with jumps and berms. You will race against other riders of the same age and skill level. Best of all, you never sit the bench, you can compete at each event and learn at your own pace. How to get started!
